The Pukana La “Sunrise” is a completely remodeled and updated "Hawaiian style" vacation rental cottage circa 1930s with a dramatic "wall of windows" in the main living area overlooking the ocean and Hauula Bay. Pukana La is a fully air conditioned & spacious two bedroom, one bath duplex holiday home with porcelain tile floors throughout. The Pukana La features a complete, modern and open kitchen with sealed top stove/range, dishwasher, built-in microwave, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you nee` to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook while enjoying direct ocean views. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and also has wrap-around breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room which allows this vacation rental home to accommodate up to 6 guests. In the dining room area the original red wood beams have been exposed and creative lighting illuminates the ceiling. The master suite has tranquil garden views and features a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed. The second bedroom also has a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both bedrooms have individually controlled, ultra quiet mini-split air conditioning & tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this vacation home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around. There are tropical ceiling fans in the living room as well.

Enjoy relaxing on your direct ocean front deck which opens up to the blue South Pacific Ocean only 20 feet away. Your Oceanside deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Relax in beach-side chaise lounge chairs or watch spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man sunk-in hot tub just steps away. Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Holiday Rates: We charge a flat rate of $2,299.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $4,599.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

Other Fees & Details:

All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

Minimum requirement for Christmas & New Year's is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system.

Add a one-time, non-refundable, $125.00 cleaning fee to all reservations, a facilities fee of $14.99 per day and a one-time, non-refundable reservation fee of $19.99.

State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax is currently 13.962% (charged on rents) and State of Hawaii General Excise Tax on Oahu is currently 4.712% (charged on services, not including rent).
