Effective September 10, 2010 Hale Koolau began charging a nominal facilities fee on all rentals.  This is a daily fee assessed  for us to offset expenses related to ongong maintenance of hot tubs, air conditioners, salary of a maintenance person, etc.  This is similar to the "resort" fees charged by Hotels in lieu of raising their room rates.
